Dolby Atmos^® technology offers true 3D sound by including a vertical dimension, that’s to say the propagation of sound waves emitted from a new source: the ceiling. Thus, the original Dôme 5.1 system has been enhanced with two In-Ceiling loudspeakers. This new dimension provides even more precision and realism for a multichannel experience worthy of cinemas.

LOUDSPEAKERS PACKED WITH TECHNOLOGY

THE DÔME FLAX LOUDSPEAKER

Made in France, the five Dôme Flax satellites are miniature loudspeakers with a timeless design and flawless sound quality.

These Dôme loudspeakers feature Flax cones manufactured in Saint-Etienne using flax grown in France. This natural material is both light and rigid, and is capable of very high performances, particularly in terms of damping and sound propagation. The result is a more homogeneous sound, improved dynamics and a more precise register, particularly in the high frequencies; enough to seduce all lovers of pure and natural sound which is completely faithful to the original recording.

With a swivelling head, and easy to install on a TV stand or on the wall, Dôme loudspeakers are perfect for those looking for a multichannel system without using up floor space.

300 ICW 4 IN-CEILING LOUDSPEAKERS

The 300 ICW 4 In-Ceiling loudspeakers have been designed to ensure easy integration into the ceiling of your Home Cinema. They are intended for reproducing the vertical channel of your films’ soundtrack.

In order to get the most out of Dolby Atmos^® technology, Focal has homogenised all of the loudspeakers in the Dôme Flax 5.1.2 pack. This means that the 300 ICW 4 loudspeakers have the same tweeter and the same 4″ natural flax sandwich cone speaker driver as the five Dôme Flax satellite loudspeakers.

Installation of the 300 ICW 4 has been simplified to a maximum thanks to the exclusive EQI system (Easy Quick Install). This ingenuous mechanism allows you to install the products in next to no time and without any tools whatsoever. Each loudspeaker locks into its mounting frame effortlessly once the latter has been securely fixed into the ceiling. Finally, the loudspeakers are supplied with magnetic grilles for quick and easy assembly.

The 300 ICW 4 loudspeakers come with two types of grilles: a square grille and a circular grille, to ensure they blend in perfectly with your interior. These grilles are also frameless to make them as slender as possible, and they can be painted to match the colour of your ceiling, making them ultra-discreet.

SUB AIR, THE POWERFUL AND DISCREET SUBWOOFER

The finishing touch to this system is the intense and deep bass provided by the wireless Sub Air subwoofer. This high-performance subwoofer can be installed almost anywhere.

The role of the subwoofer is essential for Home Cinema installations to ensure realistic multichannel reproduction. You can’t count on centre loudspeakers and surround loudspeakers alone for reproducing the sound effects of soundtracks. The bass is a channel in its own right; it isn’t there as a simple addition to the system. The Sub Air, with its 150W BASH^® amplifier and its high-performance 81/4″ woofer, will complement your Dôme Flax system perfectly.

Free from cables, flat and compact, the Sub Air too is easy to integrate and it will also blend in well with any interior.
